About the event
On Hallowe'en eve, families are invited to an atmospheric evening of storytelling in Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park with children's book author Suki Ferguson. Suki lives in London and her first book, Young Oracle Tarot (2022), has been published around the world. To celebrate the launch of her new book ASTROLOGICA: An Encyclopedia of Myths and Legends From the Planets, Stars and Skies, gorgeously illustrated by artist Camelia Pham, at this event Suki will share folk tales from around the globe, and talk about what different stars and planets have meant to people over the centuries.
We will also do a little stargazing using the free planetarium app Stellarium (downloading in advance is recommended!) and a telescope, if clouds permit.
Suitable for children aged 7 and up. Warm, weatherproof clothes and shoes are advised, for best enjoyment of this beautiful heritage site and nature reserve.
