But who is Samira Banks?
Samira Banks is an exciting comedic talent of Middle Eastern heritage, known for her deadpan delivery and devastatingly sharp punchlines. Since bursting onto the scene, she has won the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny? competition, been a finalist in Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year, and appeared in the BBC New Comedy Awards.
She has performed at top clubs across the UK, including The Stand and Top Secret Comedy Club, and has toured nationally with the LOL: Ladies of Laughter showcase.
Okay then, so what about Jess Carrivick?
Our hostess extraordinaire is a character comic “gearing up to conquer” (Dawn French). Her WIP ‘Attention Seeker’ received ☆☆☆☆☆ at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe and was described as "a masterclass”. This BBC New Comedy Award 2025 Finalist hosts the sell-out night ‘Laugh Lines’ and was a 2025 Finalist…
