Comedy in a bookshop? Why ever not?


But who is Jordan Brookes?


Jordan won the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Comedy Show at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe with his hit show I’ve Got Nothing. He was first nominated for the same award in 2017 for his show Body Of Work. His most recent show, Fontanelle, was a critically acclaimed musical that enjoyed a sold out run at the Edinburgh Fringe and a follow-up run at Soho Theatre.


As well as being a critically acclaimed comedian Jordan is also an actor and writer, with numerous projects in development for TV and radio. He has made various short-form pilots for the likes of Channel 4 and Sky. As an actor, he has featured in Romesh Ranganathan’s Avoidance and is set to appear in the upcoming Jermaine Clement project Alice and Steve for Disney Plus. He also appears in the feature film…
