Testing Ground - November

Join Testing Ground on the 4th November for another one of their monthly open-mic poetry sessions. All welcome for a night of poetry, music and performance which includes an open mic where audience members can sign up to show their stuff too! Testing Ground is a night to try out new things - whether it's your first open-mic, or you're a seasoned pro, it's a welcoming, supportive audience who want you to succeed as much as you do. Open-mic slots are first-come-first-served at the door.

Troy Cabida is the author of Neon Manila (2025), a Poetry Book Society Recommendation. His other works include War Dove (2020), Symmetric of Bone: poems after Elsa Peretti (2024), a Poetry Book Society Pamphlet Choice, and Two Poems (2025). An alum of the Barbican Young Poets, he works as co-editor for fourteen poems and library assistant for the National Poetry Library.
